BIG news! In case you hadn't heard.
Hey!
Let’s get the news out of the way right off the rip. I am selling the Milford Chop Shop to my barber and good friend, Josh. There. Now you don’t have to read the whole thing in suspense!
What a year it’s been for us as a shop and me as a human. So many turns in the road, but so much to be THANKFUL for. All thru the 11 week shutdown I spent endless hours with my family. I look back now and I’m so thankful that I got to help my kids with school. I got to see how they learn and what they struggle with. After the shut down, things went a little kooky, but we’re still here and strong as ever. Maybe we have new faces and less hustle and bustle around the shop, but it’s still fun!
During the past year, I got back in touch with my life’s purpose. I know what I’m here to do. I help people fix themselves. I’ve done it from behind the chair since 2003. So what I’d like to do now is work less hours and be more present with my wife. I’d like to focus on my podcast and website built to coach and help barbers. I’d like to coach some sports, chaperone some field trips and be home before dark a few days a week. After all, why did I start my own business in the first place?
Josh trained with me in Medfield for a year and I have no doubt that he’ll continue in the same stride we originally set. He might even improve things! He has great business mind and he’s a man of action. He’s ready to be your leader. (Read that again in an alien voice)
As for me, I’ll be in Medfield full time as of March 13th. Im never more than an email away if any of you need me! I know that’s not an easy ride for a lot of my regulars so I would really encourage you to stay with the guys in Milford! I trained all of them! You’re in good hands.
Finally, I would just like to thank ALL OF YOU who frequent that location. You’ll never know how much that means to me. We changed the game around here. Together, we showed this area what a modern, family friendly barbershop should look like. I don’t believe that existed in this area before us. We did that together!
